Additional Information On 09/23/2034, I was dispatched to a spill in the area of 37717 Sandy Trap Drive. The Reporting Person stated that the retention pond is a white milky color. I responded to the scene and located the retention pond. The water in the pond was a white milky color. I checked 2 storm drains closest to the retention pond and observed white milky colored water in the drain. These two storm drains drain into the retention pond which is approximately 6' from the edge of the Assawoman Bay. A neighbor approached me and stated that a vehicle from Shoreline Home Improvements was at 37717 Sandy Trad Drive today and he noticed the truck leave for a short period of time and returned with a pressure washer. The neighbor stated that from a distance, he observed the worker power washing the driveway. After the worker left, the white milky colored water appeared in the driveway. There was a stain on the driveway as well as a white tint on the roadway in front of the residence, which led to the storm drain. It was an unknown amount of substance that was spilled. The business was closed and I was not able to make contact with the business to determine what in fact was spilled. I did place boom in the retention pond closest to the bay in an attempt to keep the retention pond water from entering the bay.
